Your Privacy Matters: This Privacy Policy explains how Gearsoft Engineering (a sole proprietorship of John Geary) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use OmniJudge MTG ("the Software") during our MagicCon Las Vegas Alpha launch.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Usage Information
The Software collects minimal data required for security and anti-abuse measures:
- Anonymous UIDs: We generate a unique identifier for your device to manage the 1,000-user Alpha limit.
- AI Request Metadata: We log timestamps of AI requests to enforce per-user hourly cooldowns and prevent service abuse.
- Interaction Logs: Chat logs are stored anonymously to improve the RAG model's accuracy.
- Search Results: Card data returned from Scryfall.
- Viewing History: Recently viewed cards (stored locally on device).
1.2 AI Judge Queries
When you use the AI Rules Judge:
- Questions: Your rules questions sent to Google Gemini API.
- Responses: AI-generated rulings and interpretations.
- Conversation History: Recent questions and answers (stored locally on device).
Note: Your AI Judge questions are processed by the Google Gemini API. Google may process this data according to their own privacy standards.
1.3 Game Metadata
The following are stored locally on your device only:
- Match Notes: User-inputted game state or strategy notes.
- Calculator Input: Values entered into the Mana or Commander Tax calculators.
- Local Preferences: Theme, display settings, and UI layout choices.
2. Data Security & Third Parties
We utilize Firebase (Google) for secure authentication and data storage. AI processing is performed via Google's Gemini API. These services adhere to industry-standard data protection protocols.
Your data is never sold or shared with advertisers. It is used exclusively to maintain the integrity of the OmniJudge service and provide features like permalink sharing.
